About Cakes by Oscar

Cakes by Oscar was founded in 2020 and is fully insured as a catering business.  We are registered with Gateshead Local Authority as a food business and hold food hygiene certificates.  We are also proudly listed as a 'best three rated' cake maker in Gateshead.  Our speciality is working with buttercream icing and we have created over 400 bespoke cakes for lots of occasions: wedding, birthday, christening, baby shower and more.  

Charlotte is the founder and owner of Cakes by Oscar; named after her son.  Charlotte brings every design to life with the use of edible prints, cake toppers and customer inspiration.  The baking takes place in Charlotte's home kitchen located in Eighton Banks, Gateshead.
